Nellie Cary Roberts Campbell, 93, a resident of Montgomery, AL, passed away on Monday, February 1, 2016. Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2016 from 11:00AM – 11:00AM at Leak Memory Chapel. A Celebration of Life service will begin at 11:00AM with Ken Johnston officiating. Mrs. Campbell was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Campbell; five sisters; two brothers; and three grandsons. She is survived by three daughters, Peggy Johnston (Ken), Mary “Patty” Garland (John), Rebecca Carter (Gene); son, Ronald Neal Roberts (Kathy); two sisters; one brother; thirteen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to The Children’s Relief Fund or the Lucy Landers Surgery Fund, c/o Grace Whitmire, 1710 Betty St. SW, Decatur, AL 35601. Lucy is Nell’s 7 month old niece that was born without a trachea.
