She was a 1969 graduate of Robert E. High School and retired from AT&T in 2008 with over 30 years of service. She is preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Ann Liles, and her sister, Linda Kaye Liles. She is survived by her husband, Billy of 48 years together, and their children, Melissa Leslie (John), Bill Holmes (Lisa), Jamie Tyus (Tricia), and Caleb Holmes, along with 9 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The American Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.
A graveside service will be held at Montgomery Memorial Cemetery, located at 3001 Simmons Dr, Montgomery, AL, 36108, on October 16, 2025, starting at 11:00 am.
