Paul Jackson, 73, a resident of Wetumpka, Alabama, passed away on September 15, 2019. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 33 years, Jean Woodham Jackson. He is survived by his daughter, Michele and Jay Tidwell; six grandchildren, Jessica (Dr. Cole Smith), Joshua Tidwell, Rosemary Tidwell, Jacob Tidwell, Ruby Jean Tidwell, Charles Tidwell; three great grand children; his sister, LaRose Smart; as well as his loving friend, James Johnson and many other friends.
He graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in 1965, and afterwards received a degree in business administration.
Paul was honorably discharged from the United States Navy in 1972 after 6 years of service on the USS Juneau. He received multiple medals of commendation during his service in Vietnam.
He will be greatly missed by everyone he left behind.
Visitation will be on Friday, September 20, 2019, at 2:00pm with a Memorial Service to follow at 3:00pm in the chapel. Dr. James Troglen officiating.
