Peggy B Givens

Peggy Brooks Givens born February 3, 1937 Montgomery, AL. went to be with the Lord Thursday, July 18, 2013. She was preceded in death by her parents Arthur E. and Lela Brooks and her son Donald (Donnie) Ray Givens, Jr. Peggy is survived by her three daughters Pam (Lehman) Sloan, Janet (Leonard) Lee, and Roxanne (Randy) Carr; a special niece Susan (Bill) Kennedy; sisters Sue Snider, who was also her best friend, & Sara Nell Crusius; her grandchildren Donna Gill, Leslie Carr, Kevin Carr, Bud Sloan, Maycie Sloan, Charlie Schmidt, Harrison Schmidt, & Ryan Lee; great grandchildren Baylor Barron, Sam York and Evie May Gill.

A lifetime resident of Montgomery, Peggy retired from Jackson Hospital after years of service there.

Visitation will be held at 10am on Monday, July 22, 2013 at Vaughn Forest Baptist Church Fellowship Center. Funeral services will follow at 11am with Pastor Lawrence Phipps officiating. Graveside to follow at Greenwood Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Chuck Snider, Gary Milton, Kevin Carr, Bud Sloan, Charlie Schmidt, Harrison Schmidt, Ryan Lee, and Robby Brantley.
