Pete Ray Knight, Sr., 97, passed away peacefully Wednesday, August 13, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife of 60 years, Denise Godwin Knight. He is survived by his daughter Debbie Knight Hooks (Wayne); his son Pete Ray Knight, Jr. (Lori); three grandchildren, Adrienne Denise Hooks Thames (Christopher), Ashley Nicole Hooks Ware (Christian), and Jake Ray Knight; and five great grand-children, Caroline Willa, Christopher Rutland, and Mitchell Henry Thames; Charles Hudson and Palmer Elizabeth Ware.
Mr. Knight was a career banker in the Montgomery area. He was a retired veteran of the Army National Guard and was a long time member of Dalraida United Methodist Church.
Visitation will be held Monday, August 18 at 2:30 - 3:30 at Leak Memory Chapel with a private family graveside service to follow.
