Phillip Dewayne Watkins, 49 was born June 2, 1975 to Jerry Wayne Watkins Sr. and Patsy Carolyn Watkins. He was a very loving and caring son and brother. He loved football, playing games on his phone, and getting on Tiktok. He loved doing comedy to have people cracking up laughing at him. He helped anyone that needed help.
Phillip worked doing lawn care. Later he moved to Montgomery, Alabama to better his life.
Phillip Dewayne Watkins passed away November 16, 2024 from cirrhosis of the liver. He is proceeded in death along with his dad, Jerry Wayne Watkins Sr. and his mom, Patsy Carolyn Watkins, and his half-sister Tina Marie Pruitt.
He is survived by his half-brother, Jessie Lafayette Pruitt, his half-sisters, Lavana Sherrell Pruitt and Kawana (David) Wellborn, his brother, Jerry Wayne Watkins Jr., his nieces, Leticia Annice Pruitt and Alicia Nicole Pruitt, his nephew, Richard David Wellborn Jr., his great-nephews, Collin Brady Smith, Caleb Bailey Smith, Carter Blakely Smith, Christian Landon Easterling, Mason Alexander Leston, Micah Cade Leston, and his great-niece, Kiera Cheyenne Leston.
We will let family and friends know when we will be having a memorial service for Phillip Dewayne Watkins as soon as we get it together.
