

Rhonda Lynn Truitt, 64, passed away March 3, 2020. Services are set for Friday, March 6 at First Baptist Church of Montgomery. Visitation will be held in the church parlor at 10:00 am with a memorial service following at 11:00 am in the Stakley Sanctuary. A graveside service is set for Sunday, March 8 at 2:00 pm in Live Oak Cemetery near Fullers Crossroad of Crenshaw County.
Rhonda Lynn is survived by her husband, William Edwin Truitt Jr.; her sister, Sharon Helms and her brothers, Tony Bodiford, Wayne (Linda) Duffell and Timothy Bodiford. She also leaves behind her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Dr. William Edwin Truitt Sr. and Dorothy Powell Truitt, and her sister-in-law, Marie Truitt (Walter) Huber, to cherish her memory.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Conrad N. Bodiford and Sybil Ingram Bodiford Catrett.
Rhonda Lynn was an avid Auburn football fan, a graduate of Luverne High School and a member of the Bryan Sunday School class as well as the church family of First Baptist Church, Montgomery. She enjoyed participating in the adult choir and their annual Living Christmas Tree. She loved life but delighted in her Jack Russell Terrier, Hope. A former associate at a CPA firm, her organizational skills led her to a career in medical research.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to foreign missions with First Baptist Church, Montgomery or the Humane Society of your choice.
