Robert "Bob" Allen Curtis Sr.

Robert “Bob” Allen Curtis, Sr., 84, a resident of Montgomery, Alabama passed away Sunday, August 23, 2015. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at White Chapel-Greenwood Funeral Home followed by Graveside Services at Greenwood Cemetery with Rev. Hughie Denton officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time. Mr. Curtis is preceded in death by his Parents, George H. and Beatrice Curtis.

He is survived by his loving, devoted Wife of 63 years, Mamie Curtis, Montgomery, Alabama; Son, Robert “Bobby” Allen Curtis, Jr. (Denise), Mobile, Alabama; Sisters, Betty Brewer, Mt. Carmel, Illinois and Mary Harris (Cliff), Texas; Brother, Harry Curtis (Janice), Illinois; Grandson, Christopher Matthew Curtis (Missy), Mobile, Alabama; Granddaughter, Lauren Danielle Kristina Curtis, Mobile, Alabama; Great Grandchildren, Logan Fox Curtis, Julia and Lauryn Smith; Special Niece and Nephew in Law, Linda and Ronald Gandy, Montgomery, Alabama; and a number of loving nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Mr. Curtis was a devoted member and Deacon at Highland Gardens Baptist Church for many years. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran and was proud of the 10 years he was able to serve for our country. Afterwards, he worked in Civil Service until retirement. He will be remembered by family and friends as a devoted, loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, Friend and Die Hard Auburn fan (War Eagle!).
