Robin Meade Welsh

Robin Meade Welsh, 65, of Eclectic, AL, passed away on September 11, 2021 following a short and sudden illness with her liver. She was born on December 12, 1955 in Baltimore, Maryland to her mother, the late Peggy Meade Collins and her father Donald Lynn Decker.

Robin was a valued employee of Anderson-News for 35 yrs., after which she spent 5 yrs. working as a material control clerk at Rheem. She enjoyed working alongside of her co-workers she referred to as “her boys” who she would often cook for.

Robin was a life-long dedicated democrat and enjoyed cheering for her favorite football team, Auburn. She was a multi-talented artist. She loved spending time working needlepoint, crocheting, gardening, and doing photography. She loved spending time outside and taking beautiful pictures of her birds and other wildlife. She thoroughly enjoyed traveling and attending concerts, especially her favorite band, The Rolling Stones. Robin loved and cared for, and was loved and cared for by all those around her, human and animal alike.

Mrs. Welsh is survived by her husband, Patrick Kevin Welsh; step-son Aaron Mathew Welsh; step-daughter Autumn Welsh (Christopher) Newell and their children Annabelle, Tucker and Allianne Newell; nephew Eric Michael (Kayla Lynn) Alderman and their children Allison Blake and Ashlynn Phoenix Alderman; niece Stephanie Andrea (Jason) Jenkins and their children Julianna Evelyn, Katherine Susan and Jennifer Eileen Jenkins; and her niece Beth Allison Autlav and her brother Chris Decker.

A visitation for Robin will be held Friday, September 17, 2021 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at White Chapel-Greenwood Funeral Home, 909 Lincoln Road, Montgomery, Alabama 36109, followed by a memorial service at 5:00 PM.
