Ronald Clifford Long

complications at the age of 73. He was born in Montgomery, AL on October

7, 1942 to Alex P. and Nina A. Long and has one sister, Carol Spencer of

Montgomery. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Mona McGee Long,

son Joseph P. Long and wife Leigh Ann Long, daughter Lynnae Hall and

husband Rob Hall of Huntsville, AL. and five grandchildren, Anna Payton

Long, Harrison Long, Hampton Hall, Houston Hall and Mason Hall. He was

a 1960 graduate of Robert E. Lee High School and graduated from Auburn

University in 1965. He was the owner of Long Electric Company, Inc. from

1967 until his retirement in 2012, past president of The Montgomery Electrical Contractors Assoc., a member of The Central Alabama Model A Ford Club and

an active member of Vaughn Forest Church. He will be interned at Greenwood

Cemetery. Services will be Saturday, December 19, 2015 at 11:00 AM at

Leak Memory Funeral Home. Visitation will precede the service at 10:00 AM.

Pallbearers are Hampton Hall, Harrison Long, Jerry Mallory, Linnie Dickson,

Dr. Neill Stronach and William Killingsworth.

memory of Ronald Long.
