Hey buddy, only just learned of your sad passing.
That came as such a shock, trust me!

I will always treasure the time we spent together in Montgomery whilst working on a project for a few months some years ago. I always enjoyed your wisdom, good humour, technical expertise, and the jawing and japing that went on over a few beers in the evenings.
You looked after a Brit in a foreign land, and I'll never forget your generosity of spirit and caring nature.

But now we'll not be able to share a bevy on our reunion sometime.
Sleep well, buddy! I'm going to miss ya!

I was very sad to hear of Troys passing. My deepest sympathy goes out to his family. 

Troy and I were best friends in Jr. High. We were in Scouts together, we shared a love for the outdoors. We also played football together at Maxwell. We spent countless hours at Teen Town, playing racquetball at the gym,  swimming at the base pool and running around together pretty much every day until I moved to Indiana. 

Troy was good friend to me. He was a lot of fun and we had some really good times together. Most importantly, he was there for me when my mom died of cancer.  He was the kind of friend you don’t find often in this life. 

Rest In Peace my old friend. 

I met Troy in my teens. He was a loving,  kind person. I cherish memories of the fun (and dumb lol) things we did as kids. But then life happened and I didn't see him much after adulthood but we kept up on Facebook. Gosh this was a shock! I am praying fervently for peace and comfort for his family and friends!! Troy will still be watching Alabama from heaven!

I'll always remember Troy smiling! He was a great person and friend who would have done just about anything to help you out! The short time I was allowed with Troy we became very good friends. I knew if I needed to just talk he was always there. You will be greatly missed my friend! Know you where loved by many!

TROY – THE ADVENTURER 
It can be said, accurately, that Troy would always be open for an adventure. 
Those adventures included attending sporting events throughout the nation, 
Or, being a loyal long-time employee advancing, through the years, to tenure.
Maybe he viewed these intermittent adventures as sort of a non-ending vacation.
Troy loved to be engaged in adventures involving the great outdoors as often as time allowed.
Having a group of long-time friends to share these adventures added to the enjoyment.
Camping, fishing, hiking, golfing, water skiing, playing pool, sailing done well made him proud.
He had contagious enthusiasm for Alabama football. Roll Tide, Roll! Wins gave much content.
Troy was a dedicated, dutiful son to his mother and helped her in any way he could.
Caring deeply and loving his family and friends; he approached life differently than most.
In some ways he was basic and simple although he chose to always do what he should.
Thinking, acting, and choosing to do the right thing was never for the purpose to boast.
My last conversation with Troy was one of substance and such a happy,  great memory.
I shared with him what a joy it has been walking with Jesus and having Him as the Lord of my life.
There were many miracles throughout the years ranging from healing Adina of a hip deformity
To provisions during difficult times and even humorous solutions to problems and strife.
Troy and I laughed at the situations where the Lord showed His sense of humor in many ways.
He wanted to come to Texas for a visit and to hear more of my stories of God’s grace to me.
My desire was for him (and all others) to have a personal relationship with Jesus all their days.
Troy’s faith has become sight and his greatest adventure is a mystery that has just begun.
We are promised, as believers, to be together in all of eternity; a great comfort to this one.
Troy now knows that his most important decision, ever, was to accept Jesus as his Savior and Lord.

We only knew him for a short time, but my son loved coming into work because Troy would share his fruit with him.  Troy was known as the "fruit man" to my boy and we are sad for his passing.  We pray for peace to Troy's family! I greatly appreciated Troy's kindness to my son.

So sad to hear of Troy's passing.  We had our moments but he was a NUT!!!!!

So sorry to hear about Troy's demise. It came as a total shock. I worked with Troy for better than fifteen years and had many good times with him. My best memory was the baseball trip I took with Troy, Mike Jordan and Roy Jones when we saw games in Cincinnati, Chicago, Milwaukee and St. Louis. We also went to several of the old Birmingham Bulls hockey games. You'll be missed T-Roy!

I'm truly sorry for your loss. Troy was a wonderful person. I have nothing , but fond memories of him. He will be truly missed.

My greatest memory is when Troy accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior. Troy was baptized and new his permanent freedom rest in him and him alone. 
His faith help me in my walk and i will see him again one day.  Trusting in Jesus was his greatest reality on this life because we are only here for a short time.

So so sad to hear of T-Roy's passing. Have many memories of all the help he gave me when trying to get things to work on that mainframe. I remember when Rebecca, Troy and I tried that Emu burger. He did not get to enjoy his retirement near long enough. Heartfelt condolences to his loved. ones.
