

Virgil C. Culpepper, 92, a beloved resident of Montgomery, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, September 20, 2024. Born on February 23, 1932, Virgil lived a life full of love, dedication, and service to his family.
Mr. Culpepper is survived by his devoted wife of 67 years, Blanche J. Culpepper; their loving daughter, Donna Thrash; and son, Dan Culpepper. He cherished his role as a grandfather to Margaret Crimi (Darren) and Justin Thrash (Mollie), and he found great joy in his great-grandchildren, Annsley Crimi, Connor Crimi, and Braxton Thrash.
In addition to his many roles as a husband, father, and grandfather, Virgil proudly served his country in the Army. He will be honored with military services at his burial, paying tribute to his dedication and sacrifice for our great country.
The family will hold a service on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at Leak Memory Chapel. The visitation will begin at 1 PM, followed by a celebration of life at 2 PM, with Rev. Rodney Culpepper and Rev. Rick Marshall officiating. Mr. Culpepper will be laid to rest at the Veterans Field of Honor at Greenwood Cemetery after the service.
