Virginia "Ginger" Leigh (Wynn) Raybon

Ginger was a member of New Home Baptist Church in Enterprise, AL. She was an elementary school teacher for Montgomery Public Schools until she became a homemaker. She was a beloved daughter, mother, and sister, including a proud sister of the Kappa Delta Sorority, where she traveled as a national consultant after college graduation. Ginger graduated high school from Hooper Academy in Hope Hull, AL and college from Troy University.

Ginger was preceded in death by her parents, Bessie Bowden Wynn and Lorenza Bryant Wynn, and her brother, James B. Wynn.

She is survived by her daughter, Mary Cameron Raybon Phillips (John Francis Phillips) of Montgomery, AL; her sister, Mary Margaret Wynn Baxley (Lynn D. Baxley) of Enterprise, AL; her nephews, Joseph Bryant Baxley (Melissa) of Enterprise, AL and Jonathan Wynn of Orlando, FL; and her niece, Emma Wynn.

A visitation for Ginger will be held Friday, June 6 at 10:00 AM at Leak Memory Chapel, 945 Lincoln Road, Montgomery, AL 36109. A chapel service will follow at 11:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ginger’s memory to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society or the Kappa Delta Sorority.
