William Dewayne Cantrell

CANTRELL, William “Dewayne”, 63, of Montgomery went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 17, 2011. Dewayne had a love of life and a desire to make the world a better place for everyone. He had a way of making you smile with his keen sense of humor and sarcastic personality. He loved whole heartedly and gave with no hesitation. In the past two years, Dewayne was the voice of AUM Senator Baseball, which made him the most content. He was a member of Dalraida Baptist Church and was recently chosen as a deacon. He is survived by his loving wife, Annette Babston Cantrell; his son, Chris (Stacy) Cantrell of Huntsville; Father: George W. Cantrell of Russellville; Brothers: Lyman (Barbara) Cantrell of Tus-cumbia; Mike Cantrell of Muscle Shoals; Sister: Mary Beth (Greg) Turner of Knoxville, Tn.; and his stepchildren: Mike (Cheri) Babston; Mark (Gail) Babston; Wade Babston; Ann (Donnie) Smith, all of Mont-gomery; Kristi (Mac) Caddell of Wetumpka. Dewayne was loved and adored by his 13 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Funeral services will be at 2 pm Monday, November 21, 2011 at Dalraida Baptist Church with visitation be-ginning at 1 pm. Rev. Rick Evans officiating. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
