

Wylodean (“Dean”) Thornell Wyatt Davis, 91, of Wetumpka, Alabama, passed away on May 6, 2026, in Wetumpka, Alabama. Born on December 19, 1934, in Alexander City, Alabama, Dean was the daughter of Marvin and Lillie Mae Wyatt. She worked as a school bus driver for the Montgomery County Board of Education, from which she retired.
Dean was known as Momma, MawMaw, Grandmomma, and “Mean Old Woman” and she really loved her children and grands. She is survived by Kenneth (Cindy) Burnette, son; Uleane Burnette, daughter; and Christine Rushing, daughter; ten grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
Dean was preceded in death by Morris Davis, husband; Steve Bice, son; Billy Burnette, son; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild; brothers Wilber Wyatt, Odell Wyatt, Levis Wyatt, Zolen Wyatt; Juanita Baker, sister; and parents Marvin and Willie Mae Wyatt.
Pall bearers will be Kenneth Burnette, Jr., James Burnette, Lee Thomas, Owen Thomas, Josh Wilson, and Uvaldo Cabrera.
A memorial service will be held Monday, May 11, 2026, at Leak Memory Chapel, Montgomery, Alabama, with visitation at 1 p.m. and service at 2 p.m. and graveside service following.
