Albert Di Ioia

1925-2016

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Albert Di Ioia, on June 5, 2016, at the age of 91.

He was the son of the late Domenico Di Ioia and Michelina Di Ioia ( née Sauro). Beloved husband of Mary Di Ioia (née Silvestri). He leaves behind his sister and brothers, ''Kay'' Di Ioia (late Bill Martin), John Di Ioia, Italo Di Ioia and Nick Di Ioia (Lucia Zullo). He will be dearly missed by his children Gina (Sestilio), Joanna (Mario) and Thomas, his grandchildren Alicia (Peter), Adamo ( Jessica), Alexandra (Charles), Alessandra and Rachel., his great-granddaughter Amelia, as well as many relatives and friends. He fought a heroic and courageous battle and we would like to express our gratitude to his many caregivers (Azuris, Chris and Lynne) and the NDG CLSC.

Visitations will be held at Centre Funéraire Côte-des-Neiges, 4525, chemin de la Côte-des-Neiges, Montréal, Québec, H3V1E7 on Sunday June 12, 2016 fro 2 to 5 and 7 to 9pm, and Monday June 13, 2016 from 12H30 to 2 pm. The funeral service will be held in the Chapel of Résurrection, Cimetière Notre-Dame-des-Neiges, 4601, chemin de la Côte-des-Neiges, Montréal, Québec, H3V1E7 on Monday June 13 at 2h30pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Society (Dementia) would be greatly appreciated.
