Alexander Campanelli

May 18, 1995-December 21, 2019.

Alexander Campanelli, age 24, passed away unexpectedly in his sleep at home in Côte-St-Luc on December 21, 2019.

In his short 24 years, Alex had an incredible ‘joie de vivre’, and knew how to live life to the fullest. He was always fully committed to his life decisions; he was an unstoppable force. His drive and motivation was apparent in everything he did. His dreams and desires of being a successful entrepreneur were cut short. He wanted all of his future successes to help those around him. He loved with all of his heart, and everyone who he was close to loved him dearly.

Alex is survived by his loving parents Matthew Campanelli and Stephanie Hermo, his younger brother Christopher (Lorena Furfaro), and Roxy their bulldog. He also leaves behind his maternal grandparents Louis and Elizabeth Hermo, his paternal grandfather Egidio Campanelli, and his great grandmothers Anna Gedeon and Stella Hermo. Alex is also survived by his paternal uncle Michael Campanelli (Carmela Masella), older cousins Michael Campanelli (Amanda) and Kristina Campanelli (Mathias); his maternal aunts Jennifer Hrmo-Barclay (Paul), and Vanessa Hermo (Brad), as well as his little cousins Tyler, Nathan, and Brayden. Alex is survived by the love of his life of 7 years, Cassandra Bettan, and was dearly loved by her family Renny, Paola, Veronica, and Zachary. Alex was loved by many other uncles, aunts, cousins and family members, as well as several dear friends.

Funeral arrangements are being held at the Côte-des-Neiges funeral home located at 4525 Côte-des-Neiges Rd, Montreal, Quebec, H3V 1E7. Visitation hours will be on Monday, December 30th from 2-5pm, and 6-9pm.

The funeral will be held on Tuesday December 31st at 9am the same location as the visitation, followed immediately by the burial at Mount Royal Cemetery.
