January 1st 2021 at 9:33 a.m., Alice transcended from this earthly chapter of life and into the hands of God, from pain and suffering to everlasting peace, after a 2 month battle with meta-static pancreatic cancer (pancreas, liver, stomach & bones).

Alice was a daughter, a Wife, a Mother, a Sister, an Aunt, a Grandmother, a Great-Grandmother, and most of all a strong woman to the end.
She began her life in LeQuille Annapolis Royal Nova Scotia until she moved to Ottawa Ontario at 16 years to become a domestic and nanny to 3 children. She then moved to Montreal Quebec where she devoted her time as a Wife and Mother until the end.
She will be very deeply missed and never forgotten by her immediate and extended family:

My name is Fortune .Riley Bellavance .
Alice is my cousin. Her mom Mary Ownens and my grandmother Grace Cameron were sisters . Alice was a fun loving gentle woman . She exuded with hospitality and loved her family. I met my cousins Gorden, Chris and Michael and Bj all later in life. We were invited to a dinner with Walt Alices husband. I visited Alice alot after that .I met my cousin Gorden . Alice and I shared alot of laughs together and great home cooking . Alice shared great memories I got to know other family members . I used to meet her downtown after I came from Church and have lunch. We celebrated birthdays together .Chris her other son and I became very close. Alice brought laughter joy and showed kindness to all she met. Will miss you
