Angela Giocondi

It is with great sadness and immense love that we announce the passing of Angela Giocondi on March 6th, 2025 at the age of 91. Her warm smile and gentle spirit touched the lives of everyone she encountered. Above all, Angela cherished her family and was at her happiest when surrounded by them.

Angela was a beautiful, loving, generous and kind woman who had a special place in her heart for children, delighting in their innocence and joy. She was also a passionate cook and baker and expressed her love through food.

Angela was born on February 12th, 1934 in Rome, Italy and grew up in Terni until she immigrated to Canada in 1953. She later married Clemente Altieri, her loving husband of 51 years until his death in 2016.

Angela will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by her sons and their spouses; Marco & Fe, Robert & Maribel, George, and Francois & Nicole. She will also be remembered by her five grandchildren and great-grandchildren; Vanessa, Ryan, Andrew, Marc-André, Francis, Édouard, Florence, Mila and Mia.

The family will receive the condolences at Côte-des-Neiges funeral home on Sunday, March 16th starting at 12:00PM followed by a service in the Chapel of the funeral parlor at 4:00PM.
