Angéline a pris sa retraite après 35 ans de service au département d’oncologie de l’Hôtel-Dieu de Montréal.
Elle laisse dans le deuil ses frères Gilles et Sylvain, ses neveux et nièces Chrystian (Chantal), Sylvie (Michel), Joanne et Stéphane (Nancy), l'ensemble des membres de la famille Lawrence et famille Higo, ses petits-neveux Mathieu (Natasha), David (Alexandria) et Justin (feu Bella) ainsi que plusieurs cousins et cousines et sa grand amie, Burgi. Elle laisse aussi plusieurs parents et amis, notamment ceux de la résidence Lumia.
L'ont précédée ses frères et sœurs Denise, Hélène, Yves, Pierre et Sylvie, ses neveux et nièces Yvon, Marc, André et Isabelle (Martin).
La famille accueillera les condoléances au Centre funéraire Côte-des-Neiges le mercredi 26 août de 13 h à 16 h. Les funérailles suivront dès 16 h, puis un service traiteur se tiendra à 17 h. La mise en niche aura lieu le lendemain, le jeudi 27 août à 10 h 45, au cimetière Notre-Dame-des-Neiges.

Mrs. Angéline Dion Lawrence, wife of the late Mr. Richard Lawrence, passed away peacefully at the age of 87 on August 1, 2026, at the Teresa Dellar Palliative Care Residence.
Angéline dedicated 35 years of her career to the oncology department at Hôtel-Dieu de Montréal, retiring after a lifetime of compassionate service.
She leaves behind her brothers Gilles and Sylvain; her nephews and nieces Chrystian (Chantal), Sylvie (Michel), Joanne, and Stéphane (Nancy); her great-nephews Mathieu (Natasha), David (Alexandria), and Justin (the late Bella); members of the Lawrence and Higo families; and many cousins, relatives, and friends, with a special mention of her dear friend Burgi, and those from the Lumia residence.
She was predeceased by her siblings Denise, Hélène, Yves, Pierre, and Sylvie, and by her nephews and nieces Yvon, Marc, André, and Isabelle (Martin).
The family will receive condolences at the Côte-des-Neiges Funeral Centre on Wednesday, August 26, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. The funeral service will follow at 4:00 p.m., with a catered reception at 5:00 p.m. Entombment will take place the following day, Thursday, August 27, at 10:45 a.m. at Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Cemetery.
