Anna Baratta

Loving wife for forty-four years of the late Nicola Zullo. Anna will be forever cherished by her four children, Joseph (Sharon), Nina (Joe), Angelo (Monique) and Rosetta; her grandchildren, Amanda (David), Sarah (Wassim), Christina (Chris), Joseph, William and family, Ryan (Lacey), Adam and Brandon; and her great grandchildren, Malek, Ameen, Malia and Nicolina.

Anna was born in Vinchiaturo, Italy on July 19, 1933 and was the beloved daughter of the late Francesco Baratta and Maria Iacampo, beloved sister to the late Gaetano (late Maria), late Filomena (late Giacomo), late Camilla (late Rino), late Libra (late Angelo) and late Domenico (Judy). Anna is also survived by her siblings Carmela (late Valentino), Pasquale (late Clelia), Rosa (late Mario) and Joe (Lucy), her sister-in-law’s Lucy (late Nick) and Maureen (late Mario), and her brother-in law Andy (Kathy), as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Strong and courageous until the very end, Anna will be remembered for her radiant smile, boundless generosity, captivating stories, her beautiful singing voice and her unconditional love for her family and pets. Passionate about gardening, baking, cooking and sharing meals with loved ones, Anna had the unique gift of nurturing not only plants but also enduring friendships, including with her devoted and loving cat Burberry.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the visitation at Centre funéraire Côte-des-Neiges, located at 4525 Chemin de Cote-des-Neiges, Montreal, QC, H3V1E7. Visitation will be held on March 6, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

A funeral service to honour Anna's life will take place at the same venue on March 7, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
