AVIS DE DÉCÈS

Aurora Dineros

5 janvier 1931 – 5 novembre 2019
Avis de décès de Aurora Dineros
AUX SOINS DE

Centre funéraire Côte-des-Neiges

Aurora Dineros was born January 5, 1931. She was the 3rd of 7 children to Nemesio Dineros & Asuncion P. Jimenez of Rosario, Cavité City, Philippines.

Aurora was called Home by The Holy Mother and passed away peacefully on November 5, 2019.

With the help of her sister, Nelia, Aurora and her family immigrated to Canada in 1970 where she continued her meaningful career as an educator spanning 30 years. She was a schoolteacher to many children of Saint Anthony’s Catholic School (Philippines), St. Mary’s, Lester B. Pearson, and Terry Fox Elementary Schools of the former Taillon School Board in St-Hubert, Quebec, Canada.

Aurie or Auring, as she was fondly known as, viewed herself as a humble servant of God and was an advocate of Philippine Arts & Culture, and Filipino Fare in the South Shore and Montreal communities.

Apart from teaching, she once was as a shop owner in the Philippines and maintained that entrepreneurial spirit in Canada throughout the years. Aurie reached many with her petite stature, sweet smile, adorable laughter, and her delectable cooking. Which was your favourite: buchi, ube halaya, Filipino barbeque, eggrolls, piche-piche, crispy pata, pastillas de leche, palabok, empanada, or red velvet cake? Her family absolutely loved her homecooked pepper steak.

Aurie is predeceased by her sister Nelia; daughters: Pauline “Faith” (Chris), Jaycee (Robert); grandchildren: Anthony & Jessica; her former husband & cherished friend Jacinto “Chito”; and her ever loving companion Vigilio “Ben”.

Auring always kept her extended families close to her heart: Palomar family, Marionito, Joy, Michael, Emma, Gina, Henry, Arlene, Sierra, Alex, Sam, Vincent, Olivia, Giovanni, Kim, Miguel, Anag, Rolly, Roël, Romel, Rony, Lyra, Roging, Nezzar, Ramir, Ria, Celing, and her numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, and godchildren throughout Canada and in the Philippines.

A note of gratitude from her family to: CLSC René Cassin, Le Boulevard Résidence Urbaine pour Âinés, Royal Victoria Hospital, CHSLD Résidences les Floralies LaSalle for the compassionate care you provided our Mom.

In lieu of flowers prayers are appreciated for our

“Mom – Lola – Sister – Ate – Pinsan – Tita – Ninang – Friend – Teacher”.
