Died in his ninety-third year on June 30, 2012 at the Centre Henri Bradet. Eldest of seven children of the late Albert and Lilian Bentley, he was predeceased by his brothers Maurice, Douglas and Wallace (Daphne). He is survived by his sister Joyce, brothers Donald and Kenneth (Jean), and many nieces and nephews. He was very active until three months before his death and had served on the Boards of Directors of Courts Limited, the Monkland Tennis Club, the NDG YMCA and Camp Otoreke.
Visitation will take place on Thursday, July 5 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Collins Clarke MacGillivray White (5610 Rue Sherbrooke Ouest, Montreal). Funeral service will be held on Friday, July 6 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of the Funeral Home. Burial will be in the family plot in Three Rivers
