Pre-deceased by her parents Emile Beauvais and Eileen Leblanc. Loving mother of Andrew and Melanie Desormeau, she will be deeply missed by her grandchildren, Sammael, Ryan and Chloé.
Carole attended the Université de Montréal for one year before working for the City of Laval and later, Bell Canada. After raising the kids, she went back to work and was a much valued employee of TEK Systems downtown for ten years before her retirement in 2016. She could drive a ski-doo, made her daughter’s wedding dress and her own yogurt.
Dear sister of Emile, Ronald, Leonard, Catherine (Thuan), Desmond (Cathy), Julian (Anna) and Joseph (Julia) who admired her sobriety, sweet directness, and admirable qualities. Also left to mourn are her nieces and nephews Kenneth, Brenda, Jennifer (Jason), Luke, Nicholas, Victoria, Gabriel, and grandnephew Felix.
“What’s your problem?” she would ask from her 5’1” stature. Our problem is that we do not have you with us anymore. She found peace at her regular Alpha meetings at Église Saint-Luc in DDO with her good friend, Mireille. She attended Mass at Marie-Reine-de-la-Paix on Gouin.
Many thanks to the great people in her apartment building on Meighen who knew and loved her.
The family will receive condolences at Centre funéraire Côte-des-Neiges, 4525 Chemin Côte-des-Neiges on Thursday, February 1, at 12 pm, followed by Mass at 2pm and burial of the urn.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Brother André Foundation is appreciated.
