Christina Baines Brereton

It is with great sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of CHRISTINA (TINA) FRANCIS BAINES BRERETON on March 19, 2024 at the age of 96. Beloved wife of the late Harold H. Brereton. Daughter of the late Julienne Frémont and the late Samual Francis Baines.

Loving mother to Christine (Donald) and Debra (Raymond), cherished grandmother to Bianca, Jessica (Michaël), the late Khalila, Esaan (Lina) and Chloe, and great-grandchildren Devin, Brandon, Ayden, Jordan, Liana, Ju’elle, Chloé and Kieran.

In addition, she leaves to mourn her brother Edward, sister-in-law Carmen (late Maurice), nieces Carmen (the late Imre), Catherine, Claudette (Mitch), nephews Dwight (Leticia), Myles, the late Maurice (Erica), the late Gregory, numerous relatives and friends, including her treasured El Shaddai brothers and sisters. Predeceased by her siblings Raoul, Eric, Joseph, Alfred, Sydney, Maurice, Catherine and Ethel.

Visitations will be held at Centre funéraire Côte-des-Neiges, 4525 Ch. de la Côte-des-Neige, Montréal, QC, H3V 1E7 on Tuesday April 2, 2024 from 1:30pm to 4pm, followed by a funeral service in the chapel of the Centre funéraire Côte-des-Neiges at 4:00 p.m.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to Dr. Kaufman, Hervé, Elinor, Vivian, Khalil, Marco, and the staff from the Centre d’Hébergement de LaSalle- 3rd floor for the care provided.
