Eldon, Elizabeth (nee Ermekeil) May 24, 1928 - February 5, 2021

It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Catherine Eldon on February 5, 2021. She was the loving wife of the late Christopher Eldon for more than 50 years. Predeceased by her brothers Francis, Patrick, Russell, Donald, and her sister, Dorothy. She is survived by her sister, Margaret as well as her three loving children, Christine, William, and Donald. She loved, and was so loved by her 8 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. She will be sadly missed, but fondly remembered, and because of her great love of children it is graciously asked that donations to the Montreal Children's Hospital be made in lieu of flowers.

My families condolences to Tina, Billy and Donny.
Auntie Betty I will always have the happy memories of when we were younger and our families lived closer together. Your concern for mom was very much appreciated.
The world has lost a very kind soul.

Some of my fondest childhood memories are of the summers at the cottage with Nan and Gramps. Thank you both for showing me the joy of the simple things in life, a lesson I now pass on to my children.

Rest in peace.

|Our deepest sympathy to Tina, Billy, Donny and the family. It is never easy to lose a parent. I remember some of our picnics fondly and will always be grateful to Auntie Betty for her phone calls to mom. She never complained even when mom would call at 2a.m. I like to think they are both at peace and glad to be finally reunited.

Precious Auntie Betty, I remember your kindness and the amazing interest you showed when asking how my boys were. Many say “how are you “ but you are among the few who truly are interested in knowing. I am positive Uncle Chris was waiting for you with open arms. Enjoy your eternal stay. Love always Connie

It was a pleasure to have tea with you. That one small social activity put me on a huge path to my Master Degree in Religion looking at tea and its cultural uses. I will miss having tea with you and promise to pass on this love and the peace that comes with it to my daughter.

Many blessings on your journey to the other side to be with Grampa.
