Miss you every day. Your contagious smile and laughter still rings in my ears. A year has gone by so quickly 😢. You may have moved on in your journey Elsie but you will always be here in my heart. Until we meet up again my dear friend 🧡.

I am saddened to hear of Elsie's passing. She was the kindest person I have ever met. Her thoughtfulness and contagious laugh always made her so much fun to be with. Her love for others was magical.

It is with heavy heart that I wish the Odem family my deepest condolences. Being part of this tight knit family for a brief time made me realize that Elsie was a big part of the glue that helped hold them together. I remember her as a kind, caring, generous compassionate woman. As I remember she had a fun side always a hit at parties and get togethers I still remember her laugh years later. she was a role model to Shannon and Shauna and I’m sure the rest of the younger ones as well. My deepest sympathies on the loss of your mom.   I have fond memories of Elsie.  When she worked with me for a few years many years ago.  We sometimes spoke on the phone over the years and planned to meet but we did or do that.  We had a lot of fun when we worked together at work and went out together on occasions.  She was a kind, happy, loving and a very down to earth person and I loved Elsie.  Now I wish I could have seen her.   She once told me liked quiet times when she was sick  and only wanted people close to her near her.  She did not answer my calls and called me when she was better and told me that she had stage 4 lung cancer and did not talk to many people but that she beat it.  She was so happy.  I am sorry that it returned and took her life.   Rest in Peace Elsie.   it was nice knowing you.   It was a short time we hung out but a good time.

To family of Elsie Odem:  I knew Elsie as a friend, co-tenant, a dedicated Community Worker.   My sincere condolences to her family, friends, colleagues and other co-tenants.  May her memories comfort you and give you strength.

You will be missed Mom, thanks for being my Mom outside of my home. I will always cherish all the love you gave to this world. And thanks for raising an amazing woman to carry on your love.
