It is with great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Emily (Millie). Emily was born in Czechoslovakia on May 2nd 1932 and died on March 10th 2014 in Montreal at the age of 81. Wife of the late Louis Zemanchik, survived by her sister Ann Duralia, and late sister Mary Luhovy and brothers Steve and Rudy Nemcek . Beloved mother and mother-in-law to Dianne and George Kopanas and loving mother to Christine Zemanchik. Cherished grandmother of Jonathan, Danya and husband Spiro Koutavas, Rick-Lewis, and Christian-Beau Libby. Loving great-grandmother to Geremy. The family wishes to express its heartfelt appreciation to the caregivers at Father Dowd for taking exceptional care and gracing her with heartfelt devotion over the years. As per her wishes, a strictly private funeral was held. As an expression of sympathy, Memorial Donations may be made to the Liver Transplant Unit at the Royal Victoria Hospital Foundation.
