I just found out the horrible news of Franks passing. My condolences to the entire family.  Frank and I were neighbours on melrose, many fond memories growing up. May he Rest In Peace. 

EULOGY - PART 2 
Adult years... We always remained close. Living on Melrose after I got married  were times I'll never forget. I got to see you everyday we'd have lunch together and sit outside after work and shoot the breeze. 
Years later I moved away and I know that was hard . Packing up and spending weekend's with you and mom were the absolute best .

Most recently...the visits were spread further apart .these past two years were challenging with the current state of things. We would speak at least twice a day. We would talk about old times, beautiful memories .I remember many times telling you dad be careful, drive safe or make sure you're keeping well. His answer very often was ," Donna I'm from NDG I'm tough.. " or I'm fine.. I'm Italian . You were one very proud Italian. 

The past month...was the hardest. You suffered and you suffered alone....I wish it didn't happen this way . On days where you were able to, although you were not feeling well as a parent you had the thought fullness and the protective instinct to tell me you were ok, that you loved us and missed us. You were  Still trying to reassure me .

What I will keep with me forever....
That your love for us all was unwavering. That family is number one always.. with no exception. Your word was your bond. That you were proud as a father and grandfather. That you were always there in any capacity you could be and we knew it.

Dad thank you for everything you ever did for me. Thank you for your love and your kindness and your strength as a father to me and a grandfather to Frankie and to Emma.

I will love you and I will miss everyday for the rest of my life. Please shine down on us always.. I know you're with me and that I have another Angel watching out for me. Until we meet again may God keep you in his glorious kingdom where I know that you are resting in peace and  love.


EULOGY - PART 1
I still cannot believe that you're gone. The nights and days have been so long and it feels like everything came to a sudden stop. I am heart broken that I was not able to be by your side through this past month ..

I don't think I can put into words in a few moments what you meant to me as a father but I'll try. You were my strength, my confidant, my biggest fan and my best friend. You just always knew what to say to cheer me up. I always felt how strong your love was for me and for our family. Family was always at the top of your list, and there is nothing you would not do for us I always knew that. you were kind,and generous and always in my corner and I felt very fortunate. You were so proud to have your Frankie boy...and had the best time being a nonno. Frankie and Emma felt the love and admiration from you always. Between watching endless Spider-Man movies to letting Emma put  stickers on Your face..always being an amazing nonno. Your face always lit up when you had your family around. That was your happiness.

My younger years...we had the best of times. Washing the cars on the weekend's together , working outside, family vacations and so much more. You worked hard and didn't take much time off , and gave us everything we ever needed. You gave me a good life dad. I remember the first time you took me driving. You came home and said to mom, "Lil ,this kid has been driving before I just know it". You were right dad although I never admitted it .

I remember working with you , all the laughs we had and how you would bring  coffee and donuts almost every morning. 

Spending time with you was the best ...the joking around never stopped..even recently as I got you hooked on  watching kitchen nightmares. You certainly got a kick out of Gordon Ramsay we'd talk about it together and laugh so much.

I was so very sorry to hear of Frank's passing. So many fond memories of those early days hanging out at your parents' house, and all of those get togethers when the kids were babies. Frank always had a great story to share, and there were always abundant laughs to be had. May he rest in peace...

Oh, Frank. You were so kind, loving and wonderful to me and my mom, Sheila. I will miss you so very much. Rest easy. 

Stephanie and Donna, your dad was a gift to my mom. He looked after her and made sure he always accompanied her to the door when I would go to pick her up. When I moved my mom into my house at the beginning of the pandemic, your dad called every day, for a year. When my mom was hospitalized on December 30, your dad called every day for an update. I spoke to him the night before she came home and he couldn't wait to see her. That was on January 3.  I hope somehow he knew that my mom called the hospital every day to speak to him, but never got to. I am sending love and strength to you and your family. What an unimaginable loss. May his memory be a blessing.

My sympathies to Stephanie and Donna. Your dad had a huge heart and he will be sadly missed. I loved his red shoes and how he wore the huge crucifix he got from St Joseph’s Oratory. He gave me a cross necklace that I will treasure always.
Frank was not only a  friend and table buddy with my mother at Le Languedoc, but he was also a friend to me and my sisters when we went to visit. Our family had an instant bond with him.
May you rest in the love of the Lord that shined through your kind heart ❤️ 

To Stephanie, Donna and the family.  So sad to loose a parent especially one that loved you girls more than anything.  I will always cherish the memories I had with your dad, the card games, the laughs, and especially treating me like his family.  I will never forget that!!!!!!!
