It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Guglielmo (William) Ranellucci on January 31st, 2026, at the age of 73. He passed away peacefully, surrounded by love, with his daughter by his side.
Born in Provvidenti, Campobasso, Italy, William was predeceased by his parents, Paolo and Gioconda Ranellucci. He was a dedicated father to his daughter Paula (Isaiah), and a devoted brother to the late Vincent (Heather) and Angela (Gerald). He will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A vivid sports fan, especially of the Pittsburgh Penguins and Steelers, William didn’t just watch the games; he analyzed every play and shared his passion with everyone around him. He will be remembered for his humor, generosity, and warmth.
William’s presence will also be missed by the team at Saint Margaret’s Residence who took care of him during this journey.
Funeral will be held at Collins Clarke Funeral Home, 5610 rue Sherbrooke St W, February 11th, 2026. Visitation in the chapel at 10:30am, followed by service at 11am. Entombment to follow at Rideau Memorial Gardens.
