Thanks to Sonia, I've learned of Helen's recent death and send the Kelly family my sincere condolences. I have not seen Helen and Ken for many, many years, but the lovely photos posted on this site brought them, and their family members, vividly back to memory.

I remember Helen as the sweetest-natured mother of five, with a ready smile and a great sense of humour. She and Ken lucked out in finding each other as they seemed a perfect match.

Centuries  ago, or so it feels,  I spent a weekend with Evelyn at Helen and Ken's home. We looked after their four children, aged maybe six or so to baby Colleen. It was exhausting - not because the children weren't very well behaved, but  because we were not used to getting up early on weekends and looking after someone else all day.  Those children were a delight, but they kept us busy!

I'm very sorry for your loss and hope your many memories will bring you the comfort you need.

We were very saddened to hear of the passing of Helen. 
To Ken, Colleen, Dean, Evelyn and all who knew and loved her, we are so sorry for your loss. Helen was such a vibrant, warm and loving person. We will never forget the Thanksgiving weekend we spent with Ken and Helen at their home on the Ottawa River. We were warmly welcomed and immediately made to feel at home. We had lively discussions and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Helen had a way of making you feel special. She was a kind yet fun loving person who will be missed.

She was a favorite aunt that was a big part of my life for as long as I can remember 💫💕. My parents considered Helen and Ken basically their best friends, socializing quite often, and always having a great time. Many many memories of them in Westmount as well as when they would come out to Chambly for the parties and corn roasts. She will forever be fondly thought of and missed. My sincere condolences to all her family. May she rest in peace💫💗✨💗💫
