Italina Ida (Pietropaolo) Pallotta

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we announce the peaceful passing of our mother, Ida Pallotta, on May 14, 2026, at the age of 94. Born in Guglionesi, Campobasso, on December 25, 1931, Ida immigrated to Montreal in 1960 with her husband and children, while always maintaining strong ties to her family in Italy.

She was a strong, resilient and compassionate woman who dedicated her life to creating a warm and nurturing home filled with love, laughter and cherished memories.

Lovingly known as "Nonna" to her grandchildren, Sabrina and Vanessa, and "Nonnina" to her great-grandchildren, Alessio and Adriano, she adored them deeply and always welcomed them with open arms and endless affection.

Ida was predeceased by her husband, Luigi, and her son, Peppino. She leaves to mourn her sons, Nick (Carmen), Severino, and Lino; her grandchildren, Vanessa and Sabrina (Sandro); and her great-grandchildren, Alessio and Adriano.

Ida will be profoundly missed and will forever remain in our hearts and memories.

The family will receive condolences at Centre Funéraire Côte-des-Neiges, Dignity Memorial, 4525 Côte-des-Neiges Road, Montréal, H3V 1E7 (514-342-8000, www.dignitequebec.com), on Thursday, May 28, 2026, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., and on Friday, May 29, 2026, from 9:00 to 11:30 a.m.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 29, 2026, at 12:30 p.m. in the Chapel of La Résurrection at Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Cemetery, followed by entombment at the La Pietà Mausoleum, where Ida will be laid to rest.
