Jeannette Papavasil

C'est avec une profonde tristesse que nous annonçons le décès de Jeannette Papavasil, 92 ans, à son domicile le 10 août 2020. Elle était l'épouse bien-aimée de Stavros Papavasil (décédé), mère d'Irène (Robert Ferrari), grand-maman de Julia (Souheil) et Jonathan (Sarah); et arrière-grand-mère de Luca et Matteo. Jeannette laisse aussi dans le deuil son neveu Dimitris (Katerina) et sa nièce Minodora (Taki) ainsi que de nombreux êtres chers à travers le monde.

On se souviendra de Jeannette pour son intelligence, sa vivacité, ainsi que son amour pour sa famille. Elle était championne de bridge, adorait la littérature et les mots croisés, et aimait voyager avec ses amis et sa famille.

Nous tenons à remercier ses soignantes Sally Corpus, Maria Amaro et Belinda Bobis pour leur dévouement et leur compassion.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of Jeannette Papavasil, aged 92, at her home on August 10, 2020. She was the beloved wife of Stavros Papavasil (deceased), loving mother of Irene (Robert Ferrari), cherished grand-maman of Julia (Souheil) and Jonathan (Sarah); great grand-mother to Luca and Matteo. Jeannette leaves behind her nephew Dimitris (Katerina) and her niece Minodora (Taki) as well as many loved ones around the world.

Jeannette will be remembered for her keen intellect, strength of character and love of family. She was a champion bridge player, loved reading and crossword puzzles, and enjoyed travelling with her friends and family.

We would like to thank her caregivers Sally Corpus, Maria Amaro and Belinda Bobis for their devotion and compassion.
