"It is with sorrow that we announce that on October 12, 2017, at the age of 72, John Kenneth (Kenny) Hamilton passed away peacefully surround by his friends and family. Beloved husband to Dale, loving father to Tamara, devoted grandfather to Keyara and Kavon, cherished Uncle to Georgina and Dawn, and brother to Leith. Kenny was a great storyteller and a true entertainer. He loved music and being in the studio. Despite his condition, he finished his last recording shortly before his passing. Kenny will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by all those whose lives he touched. A memorial service for Kenny will be held on November 25th, 2017, at 4 p.m. at "Le Manoir", 5319 Notre-Dame-des-Graces (limited parking on site). The family would like to extend its heartfelt appreciation to the staff of K-6 at the Jewish General Hospital for their care, devotion and compassion."
