Mr. Joseph Gregory Clement Lewis

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Gregory Lewis, formerly of Kinsale and Lower Fort Barrington, but who lived in Montreal, Canada since 1974. He passed away on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at the Jewish General Hospital in Montreal. He was 72 years old.

He leaves to mourn his siblings, Stafford and Evans Lewis in Montreal, Quebec.

Lestrade, Sherlock, and Leslyn George, who also live in Montreal, Quebec.

His aunts, Esther Dowdye in Canada, Martha Francis in Montserrat and Isabelle Meade Joyce in the UK.

His uncles, Clarence Meade in Montserrat, Edwin Joseph Meade in the UK and George ‘Brigo’ Meade in Nevis.

Many nieces and nephews to include Tahira in Boston; Kizzy, Jessica, Natalya, Nicole, Rachael, Rakia, Keva, Amya, Karima, Johshe, Jayden, Joseph, Zachary, Joshua, Keegan, Dyson, Shadontay, Shavantay, and Shavon in Canada.

Great nephews, Isaiah and Marcus and great niece, Amelia.

Also left to mourn are The Lewis, Cassell, and Daley families in Montserrat, the USA, Canada, and the UK, and many more relatives and friends too numerous to mention.

The funeral service for the late Gregory Lewis will be held on Friday, June 6, 2025, in Montreal, Canada.

The day will begin with a viewing from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Collins Clarke Funeral Home, located at 5610 rue Sherbrooke Ouest, Montreal, Quebec, H4A 1W5. This will be followed by the church service, which will commence at 12:30 p.m. at St. Augustine of Canterbury Church, situated at 5333 avenue Notre-Dame-de-Grâce, Montreal, Quebec, H4A 1L2.

The burial will take place at 2:15 p.m. at Cemetery Notre-Dame-des-Neiges, located at 4601 Chemin de la Côte-des-Neiges, Montreal, Quebec, H3V 1E7.

Following the burial, family and friends are invited to gather for the repast, which will be held at the St. Augustine of Canterbury Church Hall, also at 5333 avenue Notre-Dame-de-Grâce, Montreal, Quebec, H4A 1L2.
