Judith Folkes

October 25, 1965 – July 18, 2025

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Judith Joan Folkes, who departed this life at the age of 59. Born on October 25, 1965, in Montreal, Quebec, Judith was the cherished daughter of Dorothy and the beloved younger sibling of her late brother, Randolph “Junior” Folkes.

Judith was quiet in nature- never seeking the spotlight, not one for boisterous conversation, but those who knew her were familiar with her warm smile and the joy she found in lighthearted, meaningful exchanges.

She is lovingly remembered and deeply mourned by her mother, Dorothy; her aunts Madge, Vera, Sylvia, and Juillet; her uncle Alfred; her nephews David and Sean; her sister-in-law Yvette; as well as many cousins and extended family members who will forever cherish her memory.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 7, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Centre funéraire Côte-des-Neiges, located at 4525 chemin de la Côte-des-Neiges, Montreal, QC, H3V 1E7. The funeral service will follow from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the same location.

The burial will take place at Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Cemetery, 4601 chemin de la Côte-des-Neiges, Montreal, QC, H3V 1E7, from 2:15 p.m. to 2:45 p.m.

She will be sorely missed and forever remembered.
