Louise “Loulou” Kelly In Montreal on July 14th, 2021 at the Mount Sinai Hospital, we announce that our beloved Loulou peacefully passed away, surrounded by love after a prolonged illness. Born in Rouyn-Noranda on April 6th, 1942 to Richard Kelly and Rolande Loiselle. She attended Thomas D'arcy McGee High School in Montreal, after which she started working at Shell Canada Ltd., where she devoted several decades of service before retiring. She will be greatly missed by her loving daughter Argie (Max), who was there with her until the very end, her most beloved grandson Joseph who was the apple of her eyes, her nieces Carolyn and Kathleen, her grandchildren Shine and Shadé, her grandnieces Roxanne, Saona, and Lea, along with her close friends Maria, Kelly, Sylvia, Diane, Josée, Eileen, Janette, and other relatives and friends in Montreal and around the world. We will all miss her dazzling smile, her beautiful blue eyes, and her cunning sense of humour which was present up until her last days. Loulou was love by all she came in contact with, and was the “Canadian Grandma” of many exchange students who became like family to her, namely David, Talita, Carlos, Juan-Camilo, Eric and many others over the years. She was kind, patient, gentle, and a fan of Bob Marley.

We appreciate her caregivers Liz, Sherika, and Darnett, her nurse Anderson, as well as the MUHC Glen and Mount Sinai Hospitals who all took such loving care of her during her final days. Thank you.

A visitation followed by a memorial service will be held at Collins Clarke Funeral Home, 5610 Sherbrooke St W, Montreal, Quebec H4A 1W5, on Saturday July 31st, 2021 starting at 11am. The memorial service will be live-streamed starting at 12pm via: https://funeraweb.tv/diffusions/224b6b88-72e7-47c3-82f1-3432dcacd1aa. The family asks for funeral attendees wear purple for the visitations and the service. She is gone, but she will NEVER be forgotten.

My Dear Loulou,
I will always keep in mind the good memories I have with you ever since I was a little girl. Thanks for singing me happy birthday on the phone every year while you could.
I am sad to have seen you so sick the last few months but I am relieved that you are not suffering anymore.
Rest in peace
