Marilyn Jenkins

Beloved Marilyn Ethyl Rose (Jenkins) Clark, born August 29, 1939, passed away peacefully in Montreal, Quebec, on June 2, 2022. Predeceased by parents Margaret (Peggy) Cummins, Gilbert H. Jenkins Sr., and brother Gilbert H. Jenkins Jr. She leaves behind, husband Robert (Bob) John Clark and children, Vicki, husband Chris Stone; Cindy, husband Murray Nichol; Bill, wife Celine Gribbon; Dan, wife Karin Clark. Grandchildren Ben, partner Jennifer Antoine; Skyler; Charles, Isabelle, Julianne and great-grandchild Mylo.

Marilyn had a proud career as an office manager for many years at Alcan Aluminum in Montreal. Marilyn thrived during the time she spent working downtown, she genuinely cared for the staff she worked with, enjoyed all the luncheons with colleagues at many memorable restaurants, the shopping, the exciting fast-paced life, and all the beautiful lights.

She was a very caring person who did not discriminate. Her home in Montfort was often where people from all walks of life would drop in seeking everything from basic motherly advice to first-aid.

Her first love was her family and hosting grand gatherings for special occasions and all the holidays, sometimes up to 30 family and friends around the dinner table. She made every occasion welcoming and fun and now she has given us the gift of such wonderful happy memories.

Arrangements for a memorial ceremony will be announced soon.

The family would like to thank the doctors and nursing staff on the 8th floor MUHC and Connie.
