Michael Tkac

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Michael Tkac on Sunday, March 28, 2021 at the age of 79. He died peacefully at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Montreal.

Beloved husband of his late wife Anne Zavodsky. He will be lovingly remembered by his daughters Natalie and Jennifer (Andre), son Michael (Myriam), and grandchildren Claudia, Marcus, Michael, Nathan, Christopher, and Christian. He will also be fondly remembered by his niece Anne Ragan (Gerald Boyce), along with his other nieces, nephews and many friends.

Michael Tkac was a wonderful husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle, neighbour and friend. His cheerful and friendly disposition was loved by all who knew him. He always put the needs of others before his own, and he always put his family first. He had a gentle and kind spirit, and a very loving and jovial nature. His generosity cannot be measured, his love will always be felt and his life will always be remembered.

A celebration of Michael Tkac’s life will be held on Monday, April 5, 2021 at Centre Funéraire Cote-des-Neiges, 4525 Côte-des-Neiges Rd, Montreal. Visitation will be held in the chapel from 10:00-11:00 a.m. followed by a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. Due to Covid restrictions, only registered guests may attend the visitation and the memorial service.
