It is with great and immense sadness that we announce the passing of Rosina Anania, who passed away peacefully in Montreal, Qc, at the age of 83, on September 10, 2026.
Born in Isca Sullo Ionio, Catanzaro, Italy, Rosina was the beloved wife of the late Antonio Lijoi, devoted mother of Ida (Chris) and the late Francesco Lijoi, grandmother and cherished Nonna of James (Paola), Anthony (Antonino), Angela (Adam) and Zachary (Britney), proud great-grandmother to Athena, Ava, and Thanasis.
Rosina will be remembered for her contagious laugh, her deep love for her family and friends and the legacy she leaves behind. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Visitations will be held at Centre funéraire Côte-des-Neiges, 4525 ch. de la Côte-des-Neiges, Montreal, QC, H3V1E7, on September 30, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
A funeral service will take place at Centre funéraire Côte-des-Neiges, 4525 ch. de la Côte-des-Neiges, Montreal, QC, H3V1E7, on October 1, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
Burial will follow at Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Cemetery, 4601 Chem. de la Côte-des-Neiges, Montréal, QC, H3V 1E7, on October 1, 2026, from 11:15 am to 11:45 am.
