Devoted husband of 50 years to Yvonne and beloved brother of Peter (Marilyn) and his identical, predeceased twin Tony (Sharon). He will be dearly missed by his children Christopher (Lissolett), Ashleigh (David), and Thomas (Jennifer) along with his grandchildren Lily, Quinn, Nathan and Ana. His absence will be felt profoundly by his cousins, nieces and nephew.
Born and raised in Montreal West, Tim attended Montreal West High School and Sir George Williams University where he graduated in 1968 with a BCom. Shortly thereafter, he and Tony joined the family business, W. G. Clark. Tim spent his entire career in the CPG brokerage business, eventually founding Clark St. Jean Added Value Solutions with his close friend, Marc St. Jean.
A true Montrealer and lifelong Habs fan, Tim also loved spending time with his family and friends at his country home in Ogden, Quebec. A gentleman in every sense of the word, Tim drew people in with his smile, kindness, booming laugh, sense of humour and quick wit. When you met Tim for the first time, he made you feel like a long lost friend. The outpouring of love from his passing is a true testament to the lives he touched, not just in Montreal but around the globe. He will be greatly missed by his many friends, former associates, colleagues and golfing buddies, many going back over 60 years.
The family would like to extend their deepest thanks and gratitude to Dr. Xia of the Jewish General Hospital’s Memory Clinic, the dedicated staff at the Jewish General Hospital Palliative Care Unit, AGI, and St. Margaret’s, his Kinesiologist Julia (Jules) Vermette and all those who helped him during his health battle.
There will be a memorial service on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at The Montreal West United Church, 88 Av. Ballantyne N, Montréal West, QC followed by a reception.
In lieu of flowers, the family would be grateful for donations to Alzheimer’s Group Inc. (AGI) where Tim spent many valuable hours learning to cope with his illness, or the Jewish General Hospital’s Palliative Care Unit.
