Dorothy M. Cochrane

Dorothy was born on March 26, 1939 in New York City, NY to John and Veronica (Stanford) Heavey. She was a graduate of Dominican Commercial High School in Queens, NY. On September 6, 1958 she married her beloved husband James R. Cochrane at Blessed Sacrament Church in Jackson Heights, Queens. For many years she was the Head of Human of Resources at F.W. Woolworth in White Plains, NY. Before retiring in 1999, she worked as the Comptroller for Trador Associates Inc. in North Tarrytown, NY.

Dorothy was an avid reader, photographer and artist. She and her husband loved to travel. The thing that gave her the greatest joy was her family. She will be greatly missed by those who knew her.

She leaves behind her devoted husband Jim, loving children, Jeffrey and his wife Mary, Jim and his wife Hope and Tracy and her husband David Bruce. She was also the adoring grandma of Christopher, Shannon, Robert and Jennifer. She was predeceased by her beloved sister Frances Bentsen.
