James Joseph Cronk Jr.

Jimmy grew up in Verplanck, NY. After graduating from Hendrick Hudson High School in 1967, he enlisted in the United States Air force. He was stationed at Dover Air force Base, Dover, Delaware and later joined the NY Air National Guard based at Stewart, Newburgh, NY as a Technician. After his retirement from the Air National Guard, he was a custodian for the Wallkill Central School District. Jim had also worked for the Town of Shawangunk in Wallkill, NY.

He is survived by his wife Cassandra, Children Bonnie and Donald, and Grandchildren Brynja, Aricin and Chloe. Also surviving are his father James, brother John (Nancy) of Florida, his sister Sharon Morrison (Alan) of Verplanck, and extended family and friends.

Jim is known for his love of music. In high school he had a band and was manager for a number of local bands that played in local pubs. He loved Facebook and enjoyed downloading special songs for the people he loved.

Jim will be dearly missed.
