

Joan N. Bosco (Minns), beloved mother, wife, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, January 10, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was 84 years old.
Born on May 13, 1941, to Edward Minns and Doris Paquette, she grew up in Gardner, Massachusetts. She met her husband, John, and together they built a life centered on family. Joan devoted herself wholeheartedly to her role as a homemaker, raising their three children: Johnny, Jim, and Kelly.
Joan defied the odds throughout her life. A long-time resident of Cold Spring, prior Garrison, Joan filled her days watching endless Hallmark movies, feeding the birds outside her window, playing cards and always walking away with winnings, and enjoying lots of sweets. She was witty, loved telling stories, and a talented crocheter. Whenever anyone told Joan they loved her, she always replied “Love you more.”
Predeceased by her parents, her husband John, and her brother John, Joan is survived by her two sons and one daughter: Johnny, Jim (Cheryl), and Kelly (Paul) MacIntyre; six grandchildren, John Peter, Chelsea (Kiki), Brianna, and Amber (Frank), Kayla (Caleb) Kenner, Kelsey (Joe) Hill; eight great-grandchildren, Lourdes, Olivia, Maelynn, Malachi, Everett, Cullen, Tavish, and Gunner; her dear friend Michele LeMon; and many other family and friends who will miss her deeply.
In accordance with Joan’s wishes, there will be no service. A graveside burial will take place at the Cold Spring Cemetery, Cold Spring, NY, on Wednesday, January 14 at 11:30 am, where she will be reunited with her husband after nearly 32 years.
