Margaret Guadagno

Margaret Guadagno, a resident of Verplanck, NY, passed away on October 6, 2023. She was 85. Margaret was born on December 15, 1937 in Buffalo, NY to the late Philip Arrigo and Shirley Rempela. She served in the United States Army from 1953-1955. She was a self-employed realtor for Gains Realty in Thornwood, NY. She was active in HGAR, President of the Westchester County Board of Realtors MLS, served on HGAR Professional Standards Committee and President of Thornwood Rotary.

She is survived by her Brother Phil Arrigo; Daughters Paula Guadagno, Margaret Zahensky, Fran Ranker; Grandchildren, Anthony DeRosa, Michelle DeRosa-Armiento, Michael Ranker and John Ranker; Great grandchildren Layla and Martin Armiento

She was predeceased by her husband Paul J. Guadagno

Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, October 11th from 4-7pm at Edward F Carter Funeral Home, 170 Kings Ferry Rd., Montrose, NY 10548. A funeral service is scheduled for Thursday, October 12th at 11am at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park, 101 Mill Street, Putnam Valley, NY 10579.
