

Robert C. Agor, a Montrose resident, and former longtime Peekskill resident, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 18, 2014. He was 56. Rob was a Toll Collector for the New York State Bridge Authority, working at the Bear Mountain Bridge, and more recently at the Beacon-Newburgh Bridge. He was born in Peekskill on December 13, 1957 to C. Robert and Mary Pascale Agor. He was raised and educated in the Hen Hud School District, graduating from the Hendrick Hudson High School in 1976. On October 25, 2007 he married Deborah Paul in Chappaqua. Rob was an avid NY Yankee fan throughout his life, attending the Yankee game just hours before his passing. He was also a longtime member, and current Treasurer, of the Cortlandt Hook and Ladder Company in the Peekskill Fire Dept. Also, in his spare time, he loved working in various capacities with the Staff at the Edward F. Carter Funeral Home in Montrose. Rob also performed volunteer work for Pets Alive Westchester, in Elmsford. He is survived by his wife, Deborah, of Montrose, a sister, Lucy (Michael) Lepore, of Peekskill, and his nephews and nieces, David Lepore, Amanda DiSisto, Christopher DiSisto, Jr., and Courtney and Juliana Burns. He is also survived by his father and mother-in-law, George and Dolores Paul, and a sister-in-law, Pamela Burns, 1 uncle, and several cousins.
