Chris Lamont Harrison, age 63, of Moreno Valley, California, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 20, 2025. Born in Louisville, Kentucky, Chris lived a life defined by love, loyalty, and a deep connection to family, animals, and the home he cherished.
Though he had no children of his own, Chris was a devoted stepfather to his four bonus children: Jojo Williams, Reggie Mayronne, Ronnie Mayronne, and Feaonnie Mayronne. He was a proud grandfather to two beautiful granddaughters, Sonny Rose Mayronne and Kalanie Fields, who brought him endless joy and pride. He was lovingly survived by his devoted wife, Seela Mayronne-Harrison, who was his partner, confidante, and greatest joy.
Chris had a tender heart for animals, sharing his life with his beloved chihuahua, Tinkerbell, and at the time of his passing, his cherished dogs Bear and Baby. He found joy in their companionship, laughter in their antics, and comfort in their unconditional love.
A true mountain man at heart, Chris loved the outdoors and the peace of nature, but he also loved the warmth and legacy he built at his home on Sunday Drive. His presence brought comfort, laughter, and a sense of home to all who knew him.
Chris is survived by his three younger siblings, Jerome Butler, Angela Butler, and Glenn Butler, who shared in the joy, mischief, and memories of a life well-lived.
He will be remembered for his kindness, his quiet strength, and the way he made every person and animal in his life feel deeply loved. Chris’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him.
