

Donald Lemar Nezart was born March 3, 1949 in Salina, Kansas to the union of John Golden Nezart and Zula Louise Page. He was the eldest son of six children. Donald earned his GED after being drafted into the United States Army during the Vietnam era in 1969. He served honorably as a radio operator and was a proud member of the 82nd Airborne Division, “ All American.” During his service he received the National Defense Service Medal and the Parachutist Badge.
On November 10, 1979, Donald married Doris Carroll Daniels in Riverside, California. Together they were blessed with two children. Donald went on to become a Psychiatric Technician, licensed with the Board of Vocational Nurses and Psychiatric Technicians. He dedicated 32 years of faithful service to the State of California at Patton State Hospital, where he worked as a shift lead. Donald and Doris made their home in Moreno Valley, California.
Donald was a devoted father who worked to provide a loving and secure home for his family. He was the bedrock of the household, ensuring they always had what they needed. He was steady, dependable and committed. His life was a testimony of self sacrifice, always placing the needs of his family before his own, and never wavering in his love and loyalty. His quiet strength and enduring love built the foundation of his family. Through his example, he taught the value of hard work, integrity, and perseverance. He was a constant source of wisdom and encouragement- an anchor, a provider, and a mentor. Donald leaves behind a legacy of resilience, strength and unconditional love that will continue to shape his family for generations.
Donald touched many hearts with his love and will be missed tremendously. Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife Doris Nezart, two daughters, Felicia Curtis and Renee Esparza, five grandchildren LaShe Curtis, Enrique Esparza Jr., Sierra Esparza, Giana Esparza, and Dexter Curtis Jr., five great grandchildren Lynaya Knox, Jeremiah, Giovanni, and Isela Ramirez, and Elias Esparza. Two son in laws, Dexter Curtis Sr. and Enrique Esparza Sr. all of Moreno Valley, Ca.
Donald also leaves behind five siblings Michael Nezart of San Bernardino, Ca., Jerome Nezart of Redlands, Ca., Bruce Nezart of Pasadena, Ca., Carolyn Nezart of Houston, Tx., and Beverly Nezart-Gardner of Colton, Ca., one brother in law, James Daniels Jr. of Riverside, Ca. as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
