Joan Oma Spinelli

Joan is survived by her husband, Jeremiah Spinelli of 70 years; her daughter Deborah Spinelli; and her son David Spinelli and her son Matthew Spinelli (predeceased); her grandaughter Natalie Spinelli (Nick), her grandson Jefferey Spinelli, her grandaughter Laura Spinelli (Brandon) and her grandson Marcus Spinelli. Among several nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, and her sister in law Anita Fabris.

Joan is preceded in death by her parents John & Grace Stevens; her sister Muriel Ferguson; her brother Freddy Stevens; her sister Hazel Foss; her sister Edna Poirier; her sister Frances Quaranta; her sister Shirley Pay; her sister Avis Burciul and her brother Raymond Stevens. Joan was also preceded in death by her 6 sister in laws and 7 brother in laws. Joan was the last surviving member of the Stevens immediate family.

Joan was an interior designer for over 30 years. She found sanctuary in gardening, found peace amongst the hummingbirds and nature. She was known as the hummingbird whisperer. A true animal lover of her dogs and even the burros who would wander into her yard.She had a passion for cooking as well as decorating.

She will be dearly missed by all her family, friends, coworkers, and neighbors.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Canada, date is yet to be determined.
