Madeline was a loving mother, sister, daughter, and friend whose strength and heart touched everyone around her. She was always there — opening the door when you needed someone to talk to, a shoulder to lean on, or just company to keep. She had a heart that never stopped giving and arms that were always open for those who needed them. Madeline was strong and a fighter until her very last day, and if there was one thing everyone knew about her — she loved her food and always had snacks ready to share. Whether it was a quick bite, a full meal, or a treat she was excited to show off, she made every moment around food feel like love.
As a mother, she poured her heart into her children — Sabrina, Nate, and Justin — guiding them with love, laughter, and fierce protection. She was their biggest supporter, their safe place, and their strength. As a grandmother, she was known as “Nana Gigi,” and her grandkids adored her beyond measure. She had a special way of making every moment with them feel magical — whether it was her jokes, her laughter, or just the warmth of her presence. Her love for her family was endless, and she made sure they knew it every single day.
Madeline was every niece and nephew’s favorite Tía — always laughing, smiling, and giggling at her own jokes. In her words, she was “very scrumptious,” and she made sure everyone knew it! Her laughter was unforgettable, the kind that still echoes in our hearts. Even now, we catch ourselves smiling, remembering the random, funny things she would say. We will forever love you, Tía Watermelon, Tia Big Mac and all the other silly names you had.
Madeline had a gift for bringing light and energy into any room she walked into. If she didn’t know you when she came in, she made sure you knew who she was before she left. Outspoken, honest, and full of life — she spoke her truth and made everyone feel seen. We miss everything about her — her voice, her laughter, her hugs — but her love and spirit will forever live within us.
This isn’t a goodbye, but a see you later. Madeline is with us every single day — in the food we make, the songs we listen to, and the memories that fill our hearts. Her love surrounds us always, reminding us that she’s never truly gone.
Forever loved. Forever missed.
